Context: New Buildings in Historic Settings

Architectural photographer, Albert Vecerka was hired to photograph a PKSB-designed five story building located in the Meat Market neighborhood, down the block from the new High Line Park. The ground floor includes the building lobby and retail space, and the second through fifth floors are intended for office use. The roof is accessible for party space.

The building is clad in a mix of red brick and terracotta rain screen, with large-scale clear glass windows on the street, and metal mesh for railings and louvers on a steel frame.

The result, a beautiful dusk shot highlighting the new building in context with the historic surrounding. Stay tuned for final photos!
